News Kirkwood Announces New Joint Venture at CWIEME 2005

July 7, 2005, Cleveland, Ohio, U.S.A. - Kirkwood recently announced a new joint venture, Shanghai Kirkwood Commutator Company, at the Coil Winding, Insulation & Electrical Manufacturing Expo. The Shanghai, China location gives Kirkwood a manufacturing presence that opens up new markets that were not feasible in the past. The Shanghai location is supported by; Sales, Customer Service, Quality, Manufacturing and Engineering from Kirkwood's U.S. locations. Products manufactured in China are distributed to North American locations through Kirkwood Industries Distribution LLC, located in Owosso, Michigan. CWIEME 2005 ran June 21, 22 and 23 in Messe Berlin, Germany. The show was well attended and offered many business opportunities for Kirkwood.
