News Kirkwood Industries Enters Strategic Alliance with Yat Yue of Shenzhen, China

October 7, 2002, Cleveland, OH - Kirkwood Industries, Inc. announces a strategic alliance with Yat Yue of Shenzhen, China, beginning in November 2002, to provide expanded manufacturing opportunities. The agreement provides that all Kirkwood engineered designs will be supported by Kirkwood's United States customer service, sales, and engineering, and all products manufactured by Yat Yue for Kirkwood will use Kirkwood's molding material compound to ensure the same level of quality as all other Kirkwood products. Known for excellent product quality and on-time delivery, Yat Yue was well suited for a strategic alliance. Yat Yue manufactures molded shell and molded shell - ring reinforced commutators for the power tool, vacuum, hobby, exercise equipment, automotive and consumer product markets. The Yat Yue facility is a full-service commutator manufacturing facility for low, medium and high volume applications. Yat Yue is ISO9002 registered and all products will be warehoused at Toledo Commutator in Owosso Michigan.
